Aint been able to connect for 3 hours now, says maintanence but i would have expected a thread on here about it but nothing, so please others tell me they getting same message.

Yeah, if you were signed in before the "maintenance" started it wouldn't affect you. You just stay signed in. It only affects people who are trying to sign in while it's going on.

was down & then got back in & now its booted me out, saying parental control has kicked me out, weird as i turned that off months ago. connections test say psn failed. i'll try the router on/off trick and see if that works.

Managed to log in but had no one on my frirnds list. Tried again and timed out!

Guessing the maintenance has ran over or they have screwed something up in the update. Took ages to sign in about 10 minutes ago then I noticed none of my friends were there. I don't mean they were offline, I had no friends on my list

Tried my American account which I only use to get the odd demo or video from the store and that signed in okay but I don't have friends on that anyway. Just tried signing into the official site and it says down for maintenance. Worrying thing is I knew this was happening today, but some of my friends who don't have a PC will be going nuts powering things on and off and restarting routers thinking their system is at fault. Not good to do this at peak time in the UK.
