Need a good router for PSN & XBL, replacing USB modem?

I am looking to replace my dial-up USB modem I have for broadband with a router, enabling me to easily connect my PS3, 360, and Wii for online gaming. Currently I have a Thomsom Speedtouch USB modem that requires my PC to be on for my broadband to be connected, using the PC to dial-up to the service as it were. I would like to replace this with a modem router, which would allow me to have an always-on connection whilst not needing to have the PC on at the same time.

In terms of routers, wired would be preferable, though I would like a wireless one if it allowed me to turn off the wireless when not in use and go back to a hard wired router only. It also needs to be easy to set up, with hopefully just a quick and painless install disc doing the work for me. Given that I have spent around 3/4 hours trying to get Windows ICS working without success, I do not wish to repeat the process.

Can anyone recommend a modem router with these sorts of features, I hear NetGear are quite good for this sort of thing?

- Easy set up to replace USB Modem

- Can turn off (unplug, standby) when not in use.

- Can disconnect my PC connection through Windows.

- Excellent security and encryption.

- Wireless that can be disabled, for purely wired use.

I think that covers it, anyone have some ideas?
