UK PSOne classics on US Machine, problems...

I recently downloaded Final Fantasy VII and Theme Hospital from the UK store onto my US NTSC machine but for some reson they won't run, despite Crash Bandicoot running fine.

I keep getting this error: 80028F10 saying it cannot be displayed at the current output setting.

I've changed the settings to 480p, 720p and 1080i using a HDMI cable and have been unsuccesful so far. Any suggestions?

You're trying to play a PAL game on an NTSC console. Odd that Crash Bandicoot works though.

If you're after PS1 downloads that work on your machine, you'll have to create an account at the US Playstation store. There's no Theme Hospital (nor will it ever be there IMO) but Resident Evil Director's Cut has just been released and it's a real blast from the past. Still scares the crap out of me over a decade later.
