Hi All,
As I am sure some of you have seen Sky Broadband have had issues surround the control of internet traffic coming from the PSN. For those that havent, they have been blocking connection and slowing internet speed for traffic coming from PSN.

My issue is that way before this they have been refusuing to fix issues that have been causing the famous DNS error on the PS3. I phoned sony around 1 month ago to finally try and get it sorted and was told that both Sony and Sky have been talking and both agree there is an issue but neither wil take ownership of the problem..and the cost to repair it.

Thankfully Sony gave me an alternate DNS setting and now all works like a dream - if you want the details drop me a PM.

What annoys me is that now someone in the media has noticed and decided to comment on it, forcing sky to make an announcment they are doing something about an issue that is brand new and still ignoring their DNS issues.

Does anyone else have this issue with skys DNS? If so post your experiances and hopefully we can help some people get it sorted!

Haven't had any issues yet with Sky broadband but i listed the DNS settings here in case anyone had probs......... Getting PS3 online with Sky - can't do it

Stopped using Skys DNS almost immediately and use OpenDNS instead. Been using it for 2 years now:
