Figured this one out. The game shows up in the PSN store at full price, but if you download the demo and have a go, once finished it asks if you would like to buy. If you select yes, the full game appears for £1.49.

I wanted to buy this but I refuse to put more money on the PSN Store than I want to spend, surely this breaks some EU Law.

How will you EVER get a perfect fit for money loaded to the account, you should just be able to pay for what you buy!

Its lost 2 purchases for far as my mate also refuses to put money sitting on there for nothing.

One of the most addictive games I have EVER played, pure class. Slap on your own sountrack and watch the time fly. A complete must at that price.

I bought this when it was first released and it's still my fave PSN title. Cracking graphics and very playable. If you've only just grabbed it now the promo is on make sure you also get the solo expansion pack as it includes the best mode of all.....Endless!!

My one complaint about the original arcade mode is it's a bit slow to get going, takes ages to build up some decent firepower and difficulty. Endless sorts all that and throws lots of action and powerups at you straight from the off. You can be fully powered up and under siege within a few minutes and there's some great new enemies to tackle. It's awesome.

not sure i see the problem here. you have to put money in your account in minimum £5 amounts but it doesn't have to be in exact multiples of £5. So just wait until there is stuff you want to buy that come to more than £5 and when you add funds it will add the exact amount of your transaction not just the nearest multiple of £5

It would be a shame to miss out on some of the great stuff on the psn otherwise.

I would certainly recommend inferno pool so you could get that and super stardust hd using the exact money

I bought this and Final Fantasy VII. Brilliant game, hooked on it already.

Played down my cousins house on his login, got him a higher score than mine and 2 trophies to boot. Went back home and couldn't get close no matter how hard I tried

I just went to get this as I have only just got broadband back (long story) and clicked on the large image on the store saying £1.59 but when it's added to the cart it says over £6. even though it's still the 2nd have I missed out?

Either the promotion has finished (it was only meant to last one week, so you maybe out of luck),
or download the demo and buy the game from the store inside the game because when i wanted to buy it, the price had only changed when i bought it from the demo.

You may have missed a real bargin but I still think it is well worth the full asking price. It's miles better than a lot of full price games out there. Simple and addictive is a deadly mixture

Keep moving, prioritise the rocks closest to you especially the little enemies that pop up. Keep going for the green asteroids for points and weapon upgrades.

Use L2 to boost to get you out of any sticky situations or bomb if you're really surrounded.
