Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

"No final answer" on PS3 "Tomb Raider: Underworld" says N4G.com.

I read elsewhere that the PS3 format had shifted 51% of the total sales since release in the UK [I'll find the link if anybody is interested]... perhaps the lack of a demo prompted this (those with an Xbox 360 may have seen the demo & decided not to bother). Sounds like a good business plan, really!

This month or, indeed, this Thursday we should expect to (finally) see "Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer" & "Super Stardust PSP" on the 'Store.

"Savage Moon" sometime this month too.

Has there been an official announcement about "SOCOM: (U.S. Navy SEALs) Confrontation" being pushed back (in Europe) to next February?

Oh, and out next week on the ‘Store…

Astro Tripper

PS.Anybody in London this evening?

"Want to get an exclusive hands-on with the Killzone 2 campaign mode?"

BFN,

fp.

EDIT:
GAME.co.uk (maybe in-store as well) are offering both the standard edition & the GAME Exclusive Limited Edition of "Tomb Raider: Underworld" for £24.46.
(Don't forget 9% QuidCo 'cashback' too).

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

I never see the PS3 advertised on TV, but every other advert break I see a game advertised follow by the 360 logo and the big £129.99 price tag. It also makes it look like Tomb Raider is exclusive to the 360 in the adverts, and at £129.99 it actually looks like a good deal if you didn't know any better.

It shows how good the PS3 is. It's selling more than the 360, and it's hardly being advertised at all compared to the extent of advertising Microsoft is paying for the 360.

I only really watch the 5 main channels, so I wouldn't know about others...

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

Saw a R2 trailer at the cinema and heard R2 adverts on the radio, my daughter was shouting Little Big Planek at the tv the other day too, one of the kids channels so they are starting to show.

Is GTI Club out today?

The more the better!

The demo of GTI Club has been out for a while, or do you mean the actual game? Is that going on PSN?

They need to organise the store better. I wish they had a group for just demo's. I hate going into "Full Games" and browsing through silly little arcade games to find what I want. If they had a group and organised it by newest first, that would be perfect IMO.

I've seen 3 different LBP ads (austarilian family, ex-girlfriend and heavy metal) across various channels so far.

Full game, was a little dubious as alot of older games should be left where they are but I loved the demo, brings back memories of sneaky narrow shortcuts and pass the bomb

Agree with the store, the US one is how it should be done.....alot easier to understand.

The "GTI Club+ Demo (Playable)" was available on the European Store for the first time last Thursday (27 November 2008).

"Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer screens…"

Hope it plays better than it looks.

BFN,

fp.

PS. Have you tried your arcade sticks with "Soul Calibur IV"?

It looks great, reminds me a bit of an obscure japanese shooter on the dreamcast called 'border down'

No I never did get round to buying soul calibur 4, I played it at a friend's and wasn't impressed - i'm holding out for the next round of fighters (sf4, tekken6)
