Quick recent history...
Paid Sony another £145

for a refurbished 60gb PS3 two weeks ago. Booted it up and everything worked fine.
Now...
Last put it on on Saturday night and was streaming video media through it. Everything was fine.

Switched it off and unplugged the power completley.
Went to it tonight and I was able to sign on and access the PS store. OK. But now it won't read my computer through the media tabs (music, video, pictures).

Checked the setting on the computer and reinstalled them and re booted; but nothing.

No matter what I do the PS3 will not read my PC (strange that it signs me on though??)
Just come off the phone from Sony who told me it was a 'software problem' (yeh, yeh

) caused from the last update version 2.7
When I asked why it worked since I got the machine and now suddenly it doesn't; he did not have an answer? typical that! Just told me that when the next update becomes available; in his words "in a week or so" (crap, lame response) then it will work???
Well personally I don't buy it.

Having gone through 2 360's and 2 PS3's I can't help think that it's a hardware problem. I also called a couple of mates with PS3's and theirs all work fine (well, they would wouldn't they!)
Has anyone else had this kind of problem and any suggestions what to do

??
So there you go; another 145 sheets handed over and I still can't use it for what I want.

Surely enough's enough...
