Yesterday I changed the password for my PSN account, and shortly after everytime my new trophy's tried to sync I got an error (80022D11). I was looking around on the Internet and this error occurs after you change your password of your PSN account (through the PS3 only).

There's one way to get it to this error to go, and that's by deleting your user (not the PSN account, but the user on the ps3). I was just wondering that if I delete my user what will I lose? I've got 2 other users so I don't think my media will get deleted, will it? I'm asking this because I've got 3 Seasons of episodes on it, 2 movies and a couple of other videos.

P.S The reason I changed my password is because I gave it to my mate to download Mortal Kombat II, then after he downloaded it I decided to change my password.

Update; User has been deleted, recreated the user signed in to my PSN Account then synchorinized the trophies, which worked perfectly. And now I've just copied all my saved data back, never lost anything apart from all my messages on PSN.

You will lose all you game save data. And all the stuff you have downloaded with that acount. (I think)

You will lose save data, but not stuff you've downloaded with the account. However, some downloaded things need you to keep the account on there to use them.

EDIT: I just realized, if you're gonna be adding the user back anyway, then that's fine

Im sure it says some where that if you delete the user all the content you have downloaded will be deleted.

Yep I know about the saved data, but I'll back that up onto my PSP. As I mentioned in the first post, I'm not deleting the PSN account (only the User Account on the PS3) so therefore I can create a new user and sign into my same account again. I don't think I'll lose demo's or PSN games (if I do, I can download them again from 'My Recent Downloads'). The PSN Games and Demos are on the other users aswell.

The thing I think I'll lose is my trophy collection or is that linked to my PSN account not the PS3 HDD?

The thing is I deleted ALL of my demos recently and the only thing I have downloaded from the PSN is Mortal Kombat II, which I have 3 downloads left on it.

So do you think it's only the Saved Data that you lose?

Trophies are linked to your PSN ID so if you log back into your original account after deleting it will sync with the Sony servers and your Trophies will be back again.

The number of downloads is linked to activated PS3's AFAIK, so you can download it as many times as you like but you can only have it activated on 5 PS3's.....if that makes sense. That is how I understand it anyway.

Makes sense to me.

I'm going to back up all my saved data now, then delete the user and recreate it to see if it works. I'll let you all know what happens.

I've copied all my Saved Data onto my memory stick now, before I did that I tried to copy it back to my PS3 and that worked fine. I'm deleting the User at the moment, which is taking it's time. It's been about 15 minutes and it's still not deleted.. maybe it's deleting all the media aswell ...

Well the only downside to this was because I copied the Saved data back over to my account, I can't earn trophies using the LBP Saved Data. So now even though I had 100% on 3 islands, I'm going to have to start getting the trophies I haven't got yet on another user.
