MW2 Update is Stalling... Help?!!

just went out and boguht MW2, put it it, went to download the patch and it hangs on a percentage every time!

Its defo sumit to do with the internet, i think i am getting singed out of PSnetwork during the download.

I also get the Error Code: 80710723

Any ideas, im DYING to play this game and i cant

Another member had a similar problem. Try restarting your router.

I've tried doing this loads of times and for some reason my PS3 won't download the 1.0.3 CODMW2 update. I then put in Fifa 10 to play online and my PS3 wouldn't download the latest squads so it logged me out of the PSN.

Any idea why this may be happening?

Are you connecting wired or wirelessly to your ps3, you can try to delete your internet settings on the ps3 and then inputting them again, worked me for a few times, also try disabling UPnP in your routers settings, if that does not work try opening ports , TCP port: 80, 443, 5223 and UDP port: 3478, 3479, 3658. or add Ps3 to DMZ

if any1 is still havng problems the solution is to turn off media server, it worked for me.

Thanks for the advice guys. I've tried these ideas from Googling advice and for it still won't work. I think my router is just a pile of **** as I'm constantly having to turn it off and then on again for it to realise that I've reset some settings...
