I've got the old style PS3 (which was actually a replacement for one which stopped reading discs) which is connected to the internet via ethernet cable. The problem i'm having is that it only connects to the network if I hold the cable in the ethernet port in the back. As soon as I let go, the ethernet port light goes off and I get disconnected.

I've tried different cables and also tested it on another ps3 and it worked fine so it must be a problem with the ethernet port right?
