Help re Deleting details

Brother sold PS3 but forgot to delete his ID, same day, as was posted, he
did this below (online from PC) and has reset password (& think email)

Log on to your Playstation Network online account - On the XMB, scroll over to "Account Management" and select it - Select "Account Management" - Select "Edit Billing Information" - Verify your account password - Move the pointer to "Remove Billing Information from Account" and select it. You have now completely removed your credit card billing info from the account

one question - now no one can access account and at no point does CC details come on screen (has removed/deleted CC details online), so NOTHING of importance if someone was able to access new password etc
