I have just purchased a new 120gb playstation 3 slim. I previously had a normaly 40gb playstaion 3 but the usb ports stopped working, So decided to buy a new console. . I have tried to set every thing up , and have just tried to go in to the playstation store and have tried to log in to my account so I can re download the games that I had previously purchased on old console. But I can't log in to my playstation psn account. When I try and sign in I get a message saying email or password is incorrect. I know the email address and password I have typed are correct. I have tried logging on to playstation nework via playstations website on my computer and the same thing it says email or password is incorrect I have also plugged in my old playstation 3 console and tried to sign in via that just to check and the same thing happend. The funny thing is that I have just tried signing in to my playstation psn accoun on my wifes psp using the same email and password and can sign in fine on the psp . My wife and my son can sign in to there playstation psn accounts on both ps3s and on computer. So I know its not a fault with either playstation 3. Im having to use my wifes psn account to post this question. What could the problem be. Does it sound most likely that its a problem sonys end is there any way to fix this problem. I am really anoyed because I have over £40 worth of game on my acconut which I can't access or download on to my new ps3. I could set up a new account but is not the solution as I am not happy to loose over £40 of games and have to buy them all again. I also don't want to loose my gamer tag.

Use the password reset option and reset the password.
