Connection Ahhh

Hello All

I purchased a PS3 slim at the weekend and I cannot connect to the internet at all. I have tried both automatic and manual setting adjustments. I have a Netgear Wireless-G router WGR614 and am really struggling. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Re: Connection Ahhh

In the same boat mate, but think I found an explanation and solution.

Turns out from connecting a couple of PS3s now in my experience they have quite flakey wireless capabilities.

I ended up bringing the wireless router down stairs and sitting it next to the PS3 and hardwiring, once I had a connection and the Router and PS were aquainted I unplugged the Ethernet and tried connecting through complete automode wirelessly.

Worked no problems, took the router back upstairs (room above) and the connection was dodgy to say the least, connected seemed fine then as soon as I tried to do anything remotely bandwidth intensive it would kick me out and drop the connection.
