Anyway the details of trophies is quite new and Singstar updates are fairly frequent, so probably in the next 2 weeks

The reason is.. a) im very excited about the prospect of trophies for Singstar so wondered if anyone knew when they were coming as I cant find any info anywhere...

b) ive just set up my ps3 gamertag and wanted to see if it worked

ps. how come my gamertag isn't showing my latest trophy stats? anyone know? Ive actually got a fair few more trophies than what it says... including a platinum one now.
Just wondered why it isn't showing it.

Log into the playstation site and update your gamertag...should do the trick.

I suspect the mods will merge the threads soon because there really isn't any reason for a new one to have been created.

In answer to your question, I suspect the patch that adds trophy support will be released at around the same time the new SingStar Pop Edition is released as all the titles will need to be patched to add support for the new features that are advertised for that game.

I think the trophies work across all versions of PS3 Singstar so you could get 1 9000+ score on vol.2 and the rest from ABBA or something.

That's the sense i'm getting

Yes, SingStar is seen as one title title regardless of how many volumes you own on disc because they all pool from the same save file. As long as all the titles are up to date with the latest patch for that version, the trophies will unlock regardless of what disc is in the drive.

Why the hell does EVERYTHING to do with singstar get delayed????? The latest singstore update being an example as are the wireless mics, and confusion about release dates for POP edition. Useless!

It did baffle me a bit why they would bring out 2 separate updates within a week so i'm not surprised about the delay for trophies

Just read that POP edition is now delayed even further!! May 1st apparently.

I bet the patches don't appear until after POP is released, as the press release said something along the lines of " voice control available with POP edition at launch and then as a patch"

I may just get shut of my ps3 as its only used for singstar and the odd blu-ray. At least on Lips, there are lovely achievements to be had! and updates arrive when planned. Only problem is all the money i've spent on the singstore!!

The update is out and everything including the voice control is there.

Downloading now

EDIT. April 22nd still for the voice control which is an extra download.

Also with this patch, it seems to make the whole menu experience rather choppy. May be me

Downloaded with my original singstar vol.1, tried to get voice command patch, didn't work but got my first singstar trophy, window shopper

Why when I put in singstar abba it done another update to 3.01

It's OK, i've sorted it.

Vol.2 & 3 were almost unplayable as navigating them were so choppy but since updating Vol.1 too, it seems to have sorted itself out for all versions as runs like it did before.

There's a demo video of the voice control on the singstore and it's awesome. Singstar really is unbeatable for this type of game.

May 21st 2004 for the original singstar release trophy too

I can't figure out how to achieve a very low score. I've tried loads of time and all scored under 500 yet nothing. I've even scored like 10 and got nothing?

Apparently the PS2 also work fine with these new updates and work towards the trophies

I got that trophy, my score was 960 or something like that.

I just made silly noises and turned the volume down during the song.

Read another forum and everyone that got it scored between 500 and 1000 to get this one.
