Singstore - totally unacceptable

Singstore - totally unacceptable

I'm sorry but singstore is a complete mess in terms of trying to buy content. Maybe it's to much to ask to actually go online to buy content without having to try, try and try again just to get connected only for it to then either freeze or not let you buy the songs in your basket (if you were luck enough to get that far).
I tried today for the 1st time in 3 weeks (before that tried at least 5-6 times between christmas and 1st week in January). Ok, i can accept some problems with traffic over christmas and new year but it's now the 26th january ***

I've not been on since Chrismas/New Year. But I remember at that time there must have been problems with the servers, as going to the community gallery took ages. Had various connection errors etc. We didn't try to buy any songs though.

Wonder what the problem is.

Yeah, it does seem very hit and miss as to whether you connect or not. Maybe Sony need to get a new hamster to power the server.

Not had this problem at all. Got singstar last week, and Singstore has worked perfectly, making it a quicker and more effective means for my family to spend my hard-earned cash than ever before - better even than their mobile phones.

I've had SingStar since before Christmas 2007, must have bought close to a hundred songs, and never had a problem at all

It's certainly not "totally unacceptable" or a "complete mess"

I purchased a few songs after xmas but before the new year and it was a breeze, no issues at all, in fact the wife was happy shopping.

Yeah, I'm still finding it to be a nightmare!

I've tried several times at various times on various days to browse the store and it is sooooooooo painfully slow I just give up.

At the weekend it took me over an hour to add 3 songs to my basket - then a further 6 hours to download them!!!!!! This was after trying about 15 times to log into the store in the first place.

Sony need to get it sorted as the Singstore was a major selling point initially!

It definitely appears to be hit & miss for some, i noticed a little slow-down over xmas but was never disconnected etc while uploading vids or downloading songs..... all working fine for me...

I always have problems with the SingStar Store period.
It's so hard to buy and download one song..
