Singstore freezing up?

Anyone having trouble with the Singstore today? When previewing some tracks i can't go back or anywhere and am having to reset!

I also had some issues with the Singstore yesterday (havn't tried it today). Seemed like some network issues where it just stopped loading while the network indicator at the top right was visible. Don't know if I was going too fast between the pages or what was up. Had to go back to the main menu and enter the Singstore again (and again and again).

I've had trouble too, thought it was my wireless as the PS3 is usually wired. Went on to tinternet and it was fine, gave up in the end.

Was like it xmas day too!

Yes mine was horendous on christmas eve took over 1hr to get the songs I wanted in the basket and ready to purchase reset loads of times to get it going, Im sure its due to latest update as it had to do an update before I could launch game again

Pretty sure it is due to the fact that everyman and his dog are with family and frieds over christmas, and singstar is the natural party game. I know my in laws have been blasting it heavily the last couple of days :

This morning it was working fine, I imagine it will be crawling fairly shortly again.

We had problems with it yesterday, it froze everytime we tried to add 'Slade Merry Christmas' to the basket ! Ended up just buying the 1st Queen track pack and mutilating 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

Problems for me yesterday too.

Took ages to buy tunes and had to reset the game a couple of times when it just hung there.

Pretty poor show as I thought they would have expected an increase in users over the festive period and made allowances for it.

Its been awful for me all since Christmas Day - the only time it was responsive was at about 1 in the morning on Boxing Day (oops!). Awful again today - freezing the game and giving up. Think I'll wait until quieter times and seriously ignore NYE!!!!!

Must admit i've been very unimpressed so far with the store, not content, but the hassle i've had in trying to buy content. Tried 4 times just now and each time when i had 4+ songs in my trolley it lost connection and i had to start again, not to mention the length of time it took to add some of the songs

Yeah it has still been very hit and miss even today. If you have a wired connection just unplug the Ethernet connection and reconnect, at least this saves you having to reboot.

Major problems for me too, right now. Had 14 songs in my cart and the bloody thing disconnected.

Will have to try in the daytime i suppose.

Great! I've bought songs, and its struggling to download them now!! What a pile of crap.

Can't even sign into the singstore today (Tues 30/12/08) Keep getting error code EU1-931. Anyone else? Has been like this since this morning.

Yes me too... I set this up for my other half, we just bought ABBA edition - but got the EU1-931 error.

We thought it was an internet connection issue - glad its not just me

I'm getting the same message too...obviously the servers are taking a heck of a pasting or they've just melted

Sony really are a bunch of amatuers. Is there any part of their online service that doesnt go into meltdown when more than three people try and access it?

Sony really kicked themselves with me regarding Singstore. We really enjoyed singstar/abba last night but having tried for 4 days at different times of the day to download songs form the store (was willing to spend £20-30 on songs in one go) it was disappointing not to play the songs i was wanting to because of how crap the store was performing (or more to the point, not performing)
