I am looking at getting singstar for the wife for christmas. Im not sure what exactly i will need to get started. Obviously 2 mics but which of the 3 volumes is best to get. Is it just a different tracklist or are there other extras? If anyone knows anywhere with good offers that would be appreciated to. Thanks

Pick the disc you want based on the tracklist rather than any in-game features listed on the box. Provided you are connected to PSN, when you load the disc up for the first time it will ask you to update the game to the latest version.

Gamestation had the Singstar V2 disc with 2 x Mics for £24 advertised on their website Thursday night but when we went to buy from the Shop they bumped the price up.
£35 in Argos though now and it's brilliant.

Just by sheer luck our Local Blockbuster had V2 with 2 x Mics for £22.99 so bargain.

Even £35 from Argos is a good price as V2 has loads of great tracks.

I got the mics sperately from play.com for 18 quid and then picked up the game disks. Play.com do the game disks for 18 quid too, although I did pick up vol 2 and Abba for 18 quid each in blockbuster.

As mentioned, it is just the track list that differs if you connect to PSN and download the update.

Anyone know where i can get just the mics as have ordered volume 1 for 12.99 and am looking at getting volume 3 but need the mics. Having trouble finding them in stock
