Re-downloading songs after HDD upgrade

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I go about downloading songs that I have already purchased on to my upgraded PS3 please?

not sure as i dont have the game, but for everything else, purchased games, demos etc, you go to playstation store on your ps3, then at the top right of the store there should be a download history or list button, something like that, cant quite remember. When you select it, it brings up a list of all your previous downloads, both purchased and free, it should let you re-download any of your purchased downloads for free. Hope this helps

you must be logged into the playstation with the same playstation account that originally bought the downloads to be able to re-download them for free.

if you just upgrading the HDD with your existing PS3 console then just do the back up utility then restore it and everything will be there, no need to re-download anything.

but you do need a big enough external HDD to do this and it has to be formatted with FAT32

Yes, I'm just upgrading the HDD. I have an 120Gb external HDD to backup my PS3, which I have running now as I type.

Can't find the answer to this; I sold my old PS3 and got another one. I backed up all my saves on an ipod and copied them to my new console, and signed in on my new one with no problems.

However, when I try to re-download my singstar songs, it says I cant as they are associated with a different console.

Any ideas?
