Hi just bought some wireless mics of ebay and although they took 2 weeks to turn up from hong kong i was actually suprised how well they work and i can use 2 of them seperatly.

I know Sony are releasing theres soon but how come some cheap Hongkong wireless mics are available before sony can get theres to work properly

If I was a cynic I would say sony will release wireless microphones when they believe everyone who is going to buy the wired versions has done so. That way they can then sell all those people the wireless versions as an upgrade thus maximising their profit.

Good job I am not a cynic isn't it?

They ARE releasing wireless mics. I have 2 turning up today as I am in their testing programme (if you can even call it that)

My daughter just uses the PS2 wired ones on my PS3, using the USB adapter they come with for use on PS2 they work fine on PS3

I have read that the Datel one's don't work with Singstar. Could'nt wait for the official one's to be released, so ordered 4in1's from ebay. Now just have to wait 2 weeks for them to turn up or not
