hi, i am thinking of getting my other half a karaoke machine for xmas. i have just bought a denon av2809 amp and also have ps3 which we watch blueray dvds on. what would be my best bet, a karaoke disc player, magicsing(2000 songs on a chip in the mic) or a singstar game, but looking at the song site it appears limited to the amount of songs ie i could only see one elvis, we are both in our 40,s but like a wide range of music. any advice welcome..paul

Personaly mate id trade the ps3 for an xbox elite and get the new lips game as u can add any song from ur ipod to the hard drive. However if u love ur ps3 like most of the guys on here then u got 2 things to think about singstar is a GAME however playstation dress it up not karaoke so if your into competing and challeging ur mates and mrs to who is the best then go for that remembering the limitations on the song choices. Then uve got the Karaoke machine, which is pure fun in my opinion no scoring no my scores better than urs, just good old singing along. Have fun chosing hope ive given u some food for thought
