i have a ps3 60 gig and im using a ps2 disk,how do i get to the singstore to download some songs.

so singstore cant be accessed via the ps3 itself,and if i didnt want to buy a ps3 disk would i not be able to load up any downloads i may of downloaded if i borrowed a ps3 disk for download purposes?

The SingStore is part of the PS3 version of SingStar. Downloading tracks from the SingStore is only possible from within the game itself and you cannot purchase the tracks from the PlayStation Store (although you would use funds from PlayStation Wallet to make the payment).

The downloaded tracks from the SingStore can only be played via a PS3 version of SingStar. They would not be accessible if you were using a PS2 SingStar title.

so basically i have to purchase just one ps3 disc before i can get the benefit of downloads.
bit of a pain really as i have 3 ps2 disks and just wanted buy some single tracks probably 20 or more rather than have a disk with maybe 6 i would use.
