How about mics from PS3 rock band on sing star? Just about to buy rock band and wondering if I can sell the sing star mics with Vol 1, keep vol 2 and the rock band mics.
I have looked on other posts and see that I can use singstar mics in rock band but can't see if it works the other way round.

No, that won't work either. It should be noted that there is absolutely no difference whatsoever between the mic supplied with the PS3/PS2 Rock Band bundle vs either the one in either the 360 or Wii bundle (save for the fact that the Wii mic is white). In other words, the hardware is exactly the same.

To play SingStar, you will have to use the SingStar mics.
