Lets you swap between the current 2 Singstar PS3 volumes.

Not ideal, but its a step in the right direction I suppose. Glad I kept both now

Thanks for that info, ideally it'd be nice to download them to the hard drive better than nothing though.

I don't get this one as you already can swap disks between Vol1/2?

Not from within the game (as far as I am aware? ).

So instead of booting up the other game, you can pop the other disk in at the song selection screen and get access to the other songs on the other disk - as you could with the PS2 version.

You could always do this with singstar vol 2!!!

I've had singstar vol 2 for about two months and pressing select on the song selection screen has always let you change discs. Perhaps this update is for those who only have vol 1, to encourage you to buy vol 2.

Yeah you can, I am sure you can. Can't remember what buttons we pressed first though, if you just changed the disk without pressing said button the game would kick you out IIRC.

Now i tried this last night....

Loaded Singstar volume 2 on my PS3, started they game and there is an option to "swap disk" so pressed select key and ejected disk.

Put in a Singstar disk for the PS2 that i borrowed of my neighbour....the disk was rejected saying it wasn't a valid singstar disk

I tried three of their disk in total but none of them were recognised as valid.

Did i do something wrong?

Yea, you cannot swap in the PS2 versions (yet), only the specific PS3 games.

I think it was for the US as they are or did get a volume 2 released.

The feature was added here in the UK when Vol2 got released here.

The US is going to get Vol.2 very soon apparently. Their version also get's Trophies,so i hope ours is patched to get them too
