Hi,
Some help needed regarding audio/video settings on ps3 slim. I am soon going to purchase a ps3 slim and wish to do the following (if possible). Receive the video via hdmi to my hdtv but use optical for audio (my av receiver doesn't accept hdmi) Any help gratefully recieved. Thanks. Regards. Nic.

If your using an HDMI then your PS3 will offer to set optimal settings when you first turn it on. See how that looks for you and post back if necessary. As for optical you should find an Audio section in the settings list of the XMB. Simply tick Optical and then the audio formats your amp will accept (DTS, 5.1 etc).
