Am I correct in thinking PS3MS can stream dvd's iso's, maintaining the ac3 track and everything?

I've just test ripped a dvd 1:1 to an iso and while I can get the titles to show in PS3MS on the PS3, it starts to play for a while then just stops.

I'm running a wired network and have had no problem streaming 1080p mkv's. Any idea where i'm going wrong? I'd quite like to rip my dwindleing dvd collection and store them so I have more shelf space for blu-ray.

I don't know if i can help with your problem but i can confirm that PS3MS does indeed stream ISO's fine, as i have my dvd collection ripped to my PC for streaming to the PS3.

One problem i do have is that i cant seem to force it to not stream subtitles on discs i've ripped subtitles from.

looks like some more experimentation is needed on my part then, not sure where i've gone wrong though.
