I don't think it will but not 100% sure, if you try it and it doesn't work then the best thing I do with anything I have purchased from iTunes is to burn your purchased music onto a CD and then re-rip to MP3, that way you will always have a backup and then you can do anything you want with the MP3 files.
Is a bit of a pain which is why I don't buy from iTunes but ended up having to when someone bought me an iTunes gift card.
BTW guys I downloaded the latest build of Media Monkey and its a big improvement from the previous version I had used (which was already good). I managed to import all my FLAC files and looked at the options for auto conversion to MP3 and syncing for different devices. You can specify the quality of the coversion and have different settings for each device, eg iPod, iPhone, Blackberry etc. You have to pay $20 for the full license to activate this feature but think I'll take the plunge since this will save me alot of time.
Only thing left to try out is auto syncing of playlists and favourites between all these devices and the original FLAC files.
So far so good, one step closer to deleting all my duplicate files that are saved as MP3 and using iTunes only for firmware updates.
