hey, i have been working on setting up my laptop as a media server for about 3 hours now. i have been able to get my ps3 to recognise my pc as a server but denies access to use it. gives the message about system name not registered etc. i disabled all firewalls in my pc and router and went into media player 11 media sharing to allow my ps3 but it doesnt show up as a device underneath "share media to:"...

i just dont see how my ps3 recognises my pc but my pc cant recognize the ps3.

i am running windows vista. i have my network and sharing options set as follows: network discovery, media sharing and file sharing are on. printer sharing, password protected sharing and public folder sharing are off. i have changed a few around but no combo seemed to work.

if anyone out there knows what settings need to be changed or what steps i need to make please let me know. id appreciate it. thanks.
