Copying HD Files to PS3

Hello all, I am new here and having some problems with the ps3.

I am trying to copy hd files to the ps3 with the use of Tversity but to no success. The files are in Mpg format and the audio is Ac3. I have successfully copied a hd file to the ps3, but now it isnt working and just gives me the error message on the ps3 half way through copying. These files are about 4gb. Am i right in thinking that the wirless router cant handle this amound of data?

I am copying through wireless and havent tried wired as of yet.

I would appreciate any help on this please, as I would like to watch HD Files on the ps3. Thanks

Re: Copying HD Files to PS3

If you can go wired then obviously that would be better, you could then also just stream the file rather than copy it over.

You should be able to transfer 4GB wirelessly though, i've done over 14GB, although it did take over 90mins to copy, depends on your signal strength...

thanks for replying.

The funny thing is I have transferred a 4.5gb file wirelessy with no problems. But today it gets to about 75 percent on the ps3 and then decides theres an error. Its very frustrating lol. what do you think I should do?? I will try wired tomorrow. thanks

Re: Copying HD Files to PS3

As I said, wired is obviously better and it'll be so much faster as well.

You could use Windows Media Player and try and transfer it, see if that makes any difference.
