I've created a review thread for Turok as there doesn't seem to be one yet. Feel free to vote and leave your comments on the game.

Re: Turok: Review Thread

I'm finding that the further I get, the more enjoyable the game is becoming.

A few things that have been a bug bear though.

The huge intervals between auto-saves. You can almost complete a whole section that may take half hour or more, only to get killed by a greanade or a T-Rex....then you have to go right back to the beginning of where the game last saved. Very frustrating.

No maps, no compass, no nothing really....so navigation is a real pig of an issue.

In dark areas, like underground forrest areas, the gameplay is very hard as you cant see naff all. Way too dark.

Still enjoying it though.

Re: Turok: Review Thread

I went for an 8 in the end, as the more I play it the more it grows on me.

Levels could be a little more varied, and they could of got rid of those annoying mid level loading, only takes a few seconds I know but annoying that the game pauses whilst loading. Minor details that don't really ruin an otherwise good game

I pretty much agree with that its does seem like they had 3 months to tweek the game then got told they had a couple of weeks...

But it does grow on you.....
