Just heard about this one tonight as got email from Ubisoft and went to the site to check it out. Basically you need to have webcam and print it out the paper and put it in front of your webcam and then you can see special content

Assassins 2 teaser trailer revealed. I haven't played the first one but I heard some people found it very repetitive. I hope this one isn't.

It was repetitive but enjoyable and always made me laugh when Altair jumped off a high building into a haystack.

Yeah, I kinda agree. Like all you do in a shooting game is shoot people. Nothing much else to do. lol

It was a good game, despite having to do the same thing over and over. Look forward to AC2.

Let's hope Ubisoft put some lasting gameplay in this version, rather than just eye candy. AC was a beautiful looking game, just far too repetitive.

Apperently the main charachter of assassins creed 2 has been revealed:

Looks like gray hoodies are always in fashion, regardless of the era.

Other rumored details have supposedly been leaked in early copies of the next Game Informer.ScrewAttack says the main character is Ezio Auditore de Firenze, a nobleman of Florence from 1476. Ezio is yet another genetic predecessor of Desmond's (y'know, the annoying guy that doesn'tkill people?). You'll supposedly be able to swim and access a gliding machine at DaVinci's workshop. And most excitingly of all, you'll play through more mission types. Word of that alone makes us eagerly anticipate our next issue of GI. (Check out the cover, after the break.)

I too enjoyed the game first time rounnd, never quite finished it and as others have said, a bit repetitive after a while

Cool though that we're getting AC2

Ubisoft hasn't said much of a second game, apart from making it clear that Assassin's Creed is "a franchise". So there will be more games.

The conclusion to the original also heavily hints at plot points for a follow-up.

Amazing looking game and the free climbing was great fun.

It was let down by the fact all the cities had the same few missions to get the info needed for the main mission.

Still well worth a play just for the rest of the game.

I agree with you all great game. I just got a little bored of doing the same thing over and over again. It looks like Ubisoft have paid attention to this....

I think the original's gameworld was / is one of the most impressive and brilliantly realised world in recent years, easily comparable to Liberty City.

I'm just going to repeat what everyone else has said, repetetive tasks were it's downfall, IIRC there were only 6 different misisons.

Personally, I felt the whole regression storyline a little pointless - the only thing worth doing was trying to chat up the assistant!

Think AC2's character movement will improve greatly on the first, but I can see it trying to borrow too much from Prince of Persia in terms of wall running, climbing etc.

Stealth should be the name of the game, a medieval MGS...

I only watched my sister play and all I can say is that the graphics were really good!
I asked her if there was any online play ..but nope and now I wonder if this one does..

looks wise ac1 was amazing,but the repetative gameplay ruined the game,
do first mission repeat 8 or so times.

the end was very good,very different to the rest of the game.but it was too repetative.

it olooks like they have noticed this.if they have fixed the repetative of the 1st game.then this could be a great game.

looks wise it was stunning,and sound wise too.

lets hope though that ac2 is a lot better.

It was demonstrated at Sony's press conference today. Not sure what to think as it doesn't really seem any different from the first one.

I enjoyed their demo. Despite the repetition, i really enjoyed the 1st game and like the look of the 2nd.

Will be getting the PSP version too so may try out the cross platform benefits. God that sounds sooo Gamecube/Gameboy Advance

Same here, AC1 was repetitive but I felt the story had just enough intrigue that it enticed me to see the end...it was a pretty lame ending but that's another story althogether! If they sort out the repetitive missions, the repetitive combat, and the repetitive NPC dialogue then it should be a good game
