Couldn't see a thread and just played the demo.

Better than I expected it to be, looks like a GTA rip off in the UT engine. Licensed cars in it too as I used an Astra to escape the last part of the level

On the fence at the mo not bad but not amazing.

I did download the demo, but havent given it a go yet.

It got a reasonably good review (or maybe preview) on Playr TV last week.

Not one I'm lining up to buy straight away, but could be in contention for a purchase depending on the demo.

I downloaded and played the demo last night. Graphics look good, nice and bright anyway - possibly a bit too "arcadey" looking? Some of the gameplay reminded me a bit of Burnout (and maybe a bit of Driv3r and GTA thrown in). The controls seemed a bit fiddly though, specially with the airjack and race side missions. I think I just prefer a straightforward driving game instead of having to side ram, turbo boost, target, shoot, jump from one car to another, etc. etc.

I couldn't really see the point in having Vin Diesel in it - maybe it's just me but that sorta puts me off buying it (like a huge part of the budget for this game has gone to paying him instead of developing the game). He did come across as being particularly wooden in that speech at the end of the mission but I guess that's his style.

He owns Tigon Studios who make the game. Just like Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena.

Played this last night, thought it was ok, might be worth a £20 purchase after it's been out a while. I thought the graphics were dire, had just been playing Burnout before this though.

Just got this from lovefilm today. Took 20 mins to install. Only played it for about an hour so far. Definitely a bargain purchase or rental.
