It has to be done. a bit early for a preview thread but eh i am realy excited about this game as i loved the first one.

Was that on the PS3 version? Once they sorted the lag, I thought it was one (and still is) of the best looking/playing online shooters around...

I must have a bad copy or something then. Sometimes the picture seems to bounce a bit and the graphics jump about.Not all the time but it does do it.
Dosnt seem to do it on any other game Ive played, my PS3 is a release day 60gb model so its had plenty of gsmes on it.

You are not alone, check the Battlefield Forums.

There are hundreds of bugs in this game and lag/freezing errors. They are well documented by the users and some have been fixed, either way a really fun game nonetheless

Well BF BC 2 will be have 40 player multi player.

Did anyone else play battlefield 2 on the PC? I would really like them to take a few ( Actually alot ) of idea from that game, as far as online FPS goes it was as close to perfect as possible for me, yes - even more so then that swine, COD4

hopefully 1943 will test the waters a bit.

Also I hope they incorporate some of the things they learnt with mirrors edge , vaulting over small walls, the feeling of gaining momentum, sliding under and into cover which was used fantastically in Far Cry 2 (rather than jumping between skyscrapers

)

I know and loads of people are still playing BF2 & PR I wish Dice/EA would hurry up with BF3 so the PR team can get to work on it.

well if bad company 2 is moddable then i dont see no reason why PR cant be translated into that engine.

I have read somewhere how the PR might not do any more mods and instead, develope their own engine and game

In the single player game, Will BF:BC2 have the same 3 guys as the first one did, Sweetwater, Haggard and the Sgt? I loved those 3 characters from the first, hope they return for the second one.

Yep, same squad as the 1st has been confirmed.

Supposed to be a slightly more serious storyline this time though.

Looks rubbish imo. im not looking forward to this anymore.

regenerated health, no flying air planes, 24 player count AGAIN and a kill cam!

Looks good, more of the same which isn't a bad thing!

Hopefully though if they've added a kill cam they will also add prone as sniping will become a bit poo is your position is given away each time you get a kill.
