although im defi9nately getting this game.

i really hope the servers aint as bad as they are with fnr3.

for the life of me i cant get to fight online in the lobby rooms,when i send an invite to fight to one of my friends.i cant get a fight.the servers will not let me have a game if i send an invite.

or if i get an invite.same goes with my mates too.

ithe only time i can get a fight online is when i have a random fight .when the servers pick me an opponent.

even then half the time the servers lose connection and the game stops.

now i know it isnt my connection as i have a 3 bar connection signal in the game.

does anybody else have/had this problem with fnr3 and ea servers.

im not sure if i have to adjust my settings in order to play friends online/

Hi meweavy, i've had maybe 600 fights online on FN3 and i have had very few problems.

I have always found most EA games to have good servers

the thing is. when i play on line if i let the severs find me an opponent then thats fine.sometimes it loses connection,which i dont understand as my signal strength is always 3 bars,which is very good.

also when i send a game invite to my mates and vice versa also in the lobby rooms when i send/get and invite then the servers wont allow me to play that person.

me and my mate tried it all day yesterday and couldnt get a game,whether it was with my mate or someone in the lobby.

yet when i randomly play someone online then its fine.although the connection is sometimes crap.either running to slow/disconnecting etc.

is there a certain setting that i need to have the game on in order to accept invites and send invites to get games.

i dont think its my firewall settings as the game wouldnt let me play online at all,so it cant be that.

any ideas.

maybe this has something to do with it.

Have you always had problem playing it online? I've had no problems with the few people on my friends list that i've played online.

have you looked in to port forwarding? If you like we can try setting up a match tonight

i only picked the game up a few weeks ago.i used to have it on the 360.it was fine then.any other game is fine online,but fn3,playing friends etc,then i have problems,idont think its uncommon.

Have a look for port forwarding in the game manual most game manuals have a bit about port forwarding.

im messing round with the port codes now.but every code i use.i keep losing connection.

what code do you use.is it reliable.

also do you use both sets of numbers from the booklet?
ie,

udp 3658-3659
udp 6000-6001.

would i use a say 3658 and 6000 or 3659 and 6001.or is it just the 1st udp code i use (3658-3659).

It doesn't mean they will actually ship it early. Play.com often show games in stock several days before release. If you order from them you will probably get it Thursday or Friday.

Couldn't give a toss tbh. I would probably watch it once or twice and then skip to get to the action.

If it bothers people that much, they could always stick their ipod on for the entrance

My pre-order is with Gamestation, normally I use Game. Are Gamestation as good as Game for delivery on Thursday?
