MAG beta vs Uncharterd 2 beta

So for those lucky enough to have access to both multiplatyer beta's which do you prefer, and if you only had the choice of one, which would it be and why. I know they are 2 different types of game and probably have their strong and week points, but as i don't have access to either (yet)

please give me your thought's.

Uncharted 2 because it's taken allnight to download the MAG game update!

I'll give you a proper beta review tomorrow after playing MAG tonight.

MAG is the better purely on the basis that playing with 255 ppl at the same time is mental . its on such a scale you get a bit overwhelmed at the start but once you get into it its amazing . mite not be as amazing to look at as uncharted but for a massive online game it looks and play really well . they are 2 different games and UC2 is a day one purchase im a bit glad MAG's not out till jan

MAG 9.5/10 (no single player )
uncharted 2 10/10

MAG by a million miles. Unchartered MP is a an un-necessary addition to the franchise. There are already a ton of other games that offer a superior MP experience so I just can't see tons of people wanting to play it. I have posted early thoughts on the MAG Beta in its thread but at the moment those of you that didn't get in to either shouldn't feel too left out.

Well in terms of what the beta offers it's MAG if you don't count the playing hours - But they're expanding on that so that's good

To me Uncharted 2 multiplayer seems like the GTA IV online, it's a great addition but I won't be playing constantly on it - Maybe it's just the fact that it's not FPS and TPS aren't as durable to keep on playing online? Not sure but both seem great and have 100% vanquished my decision, both will now be 1st day purchases.

Well I have to say I really didnt enjoy MAG but I keep coming back to Uncharted so I know which one I wont be buying.

Uncharted MP unecessary lol? Imo Uncharted MP is a helluva lot more varied and fun than MAG. MAG joins the ranks of a billion other FPS', yeah sure it has chaos and mayhem in good measure with it's 256 players but can you kick someone in the face off into a bottomless pit while they're hanging from a cliffside? Nuff said lol.

I guess it's kinda easy to dismiss U2 mp by just calling it tacked on, don't forget the co-op modes and the objectives team DM. It meshes really well with the melee and climbing dynamic.

The thing that puts me off MAG atm is the queueing. I hope that doesn't make it over to live.

It's certainly improved recently I must say! First day or so it took forever, now it's almost instantly. Most I've had to wait today was just too little time to buy an attachment from the barracks and equip it - When I was equipping it went into the game

As promised, having played both beta's here my opinion;

MAG is a technical wonder, fairly good graphics for the scale of the game, quick load times into games, no lag once in the game. But I didn't find it 'fun'.

Uncharted 2 is more fun because it feels a bit more casual, MAG is definitely a good game but it's one of those 'you get out of it what you put in'. Uncharted is instant reward while playing and thats what I like these days.

Exactly how I feel - I think to get the most out of MAG your going to have to put hundreds of hours of game play in (like COD4) but with Uncharted its just a pick up an play multiplayer which is much more to my liking

It's a no brainer for me,having played both it's Uncharted for me.It is a pick up and play straight away type of game whilst being fun and great to look at.

Mag is just complicated and hectic and tbh doesn't have the x factor.

I downloaded the uncharted 2 beta.

I'll be damned if I can get a game. It just says "searching for optimal game" then "searching for any game" over and over....

yeah what's weird is before in the closed beta there were just about 1000 people online when i was playing and i had no problems getting a match, now...with 7000+ online it takes ages. I just go back one step and do find match again, seems to speed it up.

It might also be the game trying to match me with similarly ranked players as the last 5 matches I've played have all been with sub lvl 10 players. I myself am lvl 31.

Actually right now there's 11000 players online and it's really bad now, might be a network issue lol.

Well, I've been in 2 matches in about 2 hours. 1 match per hr :-/
