had the first one on PC and was pretty good. Really looking forward to this (not as much as red dead redemption), so hopefully the demo will be out today.

no demo then. TheSixthAxis have a habit of listing stuff they think will be in the update recently that doesn't turn out to be included. One of the writers themselves questioned whether they were contributing to gamer being dissapointed with the updates.

Kinda agree, but there is a lot of replay value apparently, plus of course multi-player.

Anyway i've gone and pre-ordered. Review now on euro gamer. 7/10

Sorry but what does the cancellation or postponement of a demo have to do with the quality of a game. It's annoying how every time there is no demo, or there was going to be one and it's been cancelled or postponed people automatically assume it's because the game is rubbish.

Well, if there was a demo to be released (if that was confirmed) and then it was pulled it would be logical to think that one reason would be they were not confident showing off their product. Just as logical as saying the PSN fees might put them off. Luckily the game seems to be getting universally positive reviews so they must be on the money.

The game looks good on both. The ps3 has the usual blur. But i think in this case, and a few others i have seen, the blur adds something for me. The xbox version looks a little harsh on the edges at times, nothing major at all but i like the look of the ps3 version more. Sort of suits the game.

Sorry to have annoyed you, but thats just my opinion and I'm entitled to it thank you. The demo has been postponed and so I'm worried it might be because the game might not be up to scratch and they don't want a demo doing them any damage, ok?

The fact it came out yesterday in U.S and no reviews have surfaced is a serious warning signal.

I never said you can't voice your opinion. Mine was a more general comment and not directed just at you. I stand by the fact that people always thinking that a demo has been pulled because the game is not up to scratch is just silly.Why people always assume the worst I don't know.

Wouldn't read too much into reviews. For example Killzone 2 was universally praised and recieved this from Playstation mag:

'Visually it's so far ahead of anything else out there it shatters your expectations...This is a PS3 showing what it's truly capable of and delivering a landmark piece of explosive entertainment you can't afford to miss'

IMO Shows you how wrong they can get.....I for one thought Killzone 2 was one of the least engaging and counter intuitive games for a long time.

Likewise for all it's plus points GTA4 was for the best part pretty boring, yet it got all the plaudits. Compared against the likes of saints Row 2, I found SR2 (and still do) one of the best games around.

Just hope Call of Juarez proves to be great fun to play and online is half-decent. If not, look out in the classifieds section soon.

Played the game for around an hour - the online is quite fun but the frequent disconnections from games are frustrating, just like Far Cry 2 MP. It takes you forever to recover to full health after being shot a few times, unlike CoD4. I've also experienced controller dropouts a few times where the character does not respond to the actions for a few seconds. I don't understand why the online component of games can't be tested and implemented properly where some games are great in that part..

Lets hope they can sort this mess out. I'd read that the recovering to full health takes longer to make the game more tactical.....sounds like it'll become annoying if it takes too long.

I found Far cry 2 a messy online experience, mainly coz the controls weren't quick enough to make it feel like you were in control. Anyway....I see a play and help thread coming on
