Activision have revealed that GH5 will feature mix and match instruments - meaning you can have 4 of anything playing through career modes and multiplayer.

4 Drummers, 4 Singers, 4 Bassists or any mix and match of Bass/Lead Guitar, Drums and Singers.

Its also backwards compatible with any DLC you've bought before

I reckon it MUST be in the pipeline but who knows......

I like the sounds of the tracks on this new game, but having 4 people play 1 instrument seems a bit daft. Lots of people are complaining about all the diffenernt GH titles, personaly i dont see the problem as they are just bundles of a groups songs (metalica, aero smith), but i do think that this 'Band Hero' version is over kill.

Band Hero is the second of Activision's Hero trifecta for this fall. Don't be confused, Band Hero is completely separate from Guitar Hero. Except it's very similar -- it's Activision's attempt at a family-oriented Guitar Hero game, rated E10+, and will be facing off against Harmonix's Lego Rock Band later this year.

Not at the moment. I've got RB2 and the previous GHWT & GH3 to keep me going. Not sure the world needs another (new and improved) version - I don't anyhow!

Personally I think Arctic Monkeys are overrated

Loads of other great songs though!

I was reading the argument on gametrailers people were having about having Kurt Cobain in the game, one side people see it as distasteful since he was always aginst the "big machine" but on the other side fans always love a bit more Kurt! Not sure which side of the fence I am.

My mates think the same but i'm a big fan, their first few albums were class not too sure about there third yet tho?! Each to there own as they say i suppose!?

I think having Kurt in the game is a good idea, you can't beat abit of Nirvana..

I keep looking through the list and seeing songs i love, Blur song 2 to name another!

I think you can use the GHWT DLC in GH5 but I don't think you can export songs from the GHWT disc.

I'm not sure about the trophies i've never really played a GH game so i'm not clued up on how difficult they're going to be to achieve, im in the same boat as you tho as i don't have a mic either?!
