COD WAW, Resistance 2 or Killzone 2

Am on the final level of Resident Evil 5, a game I am enjoying and wanted to ask which of the above games I should play next. I dont have much free time available in general so have to be selective.

It will be single player campaign mode that I am interested in.

So which is more enjoyable out of the 3.

Having played all three (in single-player) I can state unflinchingly that all three are superb.

If I had to rank them - purely in terms of my enjoyment of them - then Resistance 2 would just clinch it.

Graphically, Res 2 is slightly behind the other 2 (its still very very good tho)....but for a slick, enjoyable game that can also 'make you jump' with the odd unexpected moment, then Resistance 2 would be the one I'd go for.

PLus - and this is worth a mention - there's a weapon in Res 2 called the "H.E Magnum" handgun.....WOW ! The best weapon in ANY game I've played. Awesome.

I have res 2 & kz2. Not yet played res2 still playing kz2. Apparently you can get res 2 for £15 instore at asda at the mo

KZ2 SP was ok. I believe that KZ2 is famous due to its MP gaming and graphics. Having spent enough time online for KZ2 to get all the trophies, i have moved on to R2 which is supposed to be better at SP.

I found KZ2 a massive disappointment. Didn't have the entertainment value of COD WAW

Do you mean online/singleplayer? If online then 100% agreed, but singleplayer Killzone2 was much better personally.

I'd say KZ2, brilliant SP IMO.

COD:WAW I actually got bored of and only played a third before selling.

Resistance 2 I've not played.

If it's single player game you're after I would recommend Batman Arkham Asylum, that's the best SP game of the year so far IMO, beating my previous fave for RE5.

I actually preferred resistance 1, carry 6 weapons at once , drive vehicles , mines , also seems a lot longer than resistance 2.

I finished res1 around 5 times and res2 twice as i had borrowed it, I am still going to buy it though.

Cannot wait for resistance3

I tried the online gaming for R2 and i was disappointed hugely with the graphics compared to KZ2. It might be also that i am so used to KZ2 that its not so easy to adapt to R2 online gaming.

You should probably make this a poll.

The only one I own is COD:WaW so I can't comment on the other two, but I can tell you that WaW is nothing special. With regard to the single player campaign, the AI is pretty dumb, the graphics are nothing to behold and there are two unspeakably dull missions I can recall (one has you firing from a jet-fighter, the other controlling a tank).

That said, I have played through it twice, which I can't say I've done for 99% of the games I've ever played.

Having read reviews for all three of these games, though, the thing the three of them appear to have in common is that they are more remarkable for their multiplayer than the single player experience (although I found WaW's multiplayer way too frantic for my liking).

Well I'm 1/3rd of the way into Resistance 2 single player and think it is ok. Am not enjoying it as much as Resident Evil 5 nor do I think it is better than COD 4 Modern Warfare or Gears of War 1 and 2 games which I have previously completed and enjoyed.

Will still complete it and then try the co-op mode before starting Killzone 2, COD WAW or Uncharted 1.

Regarding multiplayer, I dont really have the time to invest in becoming skillful enough to really enjoy the online experience. Only really play Streetfighter IV online a game which is prime example of the fact that you need many hours of practice before being able to get something out of an online game.

Havent played R2 single player.

But between KZ2 and WaW, I would say KZ2 campaign is easily better.

KZ 2 for campaign and COD:WAW for multiplayer.
