Can any one join the blu-rays or is it invite only? i'm after a few games of BAP where people pass the ball to each other, instead of trying to score wonder goals with gary neville

Well this the team that pass's the ball and if you dont, will get slated for it(see previous thread).

we also never chose france, barca and manu in bap as they are classed as "super human" teams and thats not what where all about.

Speaking of sendings off, how come sometimes you get sent off and come back on as Any and other times you are out of the game and have to watch the rest of it from the stands (aka your sofa)? Does it depend on how may are BAPing at the time?

After we split the teams we took all of the bad luck with us. We did win a game I think but for the rest of the night we just kept hitting the woodwork over and over and over. The other teams were hacking us down and getting away with it and then on the other side of the coin there were a few penalties given last night out of nowhere.

One in particular stands out as they crossed a ball into the box, I was the last man back and managed to block a shot then pass the ball off to the wing. Suddenly the whistle goes and it's a penalty!? It didn't show us a replay of why and no one got any cards!

It was good fun playing online but after the 3rd or 4th match on the trot where we were down 4 or 5 or 6 goals it was a bit much.

Did anyone notice that brazil team were scoring impossible angled shots!? Like they were crossing it to a guy with his back to the goals, who would chest the ball down then spin on the spot and blast the ball into the top corner and a million miles an hour. They scored 3 goals like this where no sane person would think of shooting yet they would hit the ball at full power and still score!
How the hell were they doing that!?

Should have played with us lot!

We didn't win them all but towards the end some of the goals we scored were superb passing moves.

Only kidding. Some good play and when that happens it's much more enjoyable.

I still noticed people going straight for the same positions multiple times on a trot though. How many times do we have to say share it about a bit?? and if you have just played there, pick another position ***. If somebody doesn't pick your favoured position then carry on.

I try to never play the same position 2/3 times on a trot. Sometimes I don't get a chance to try something else though cos people jump in straight away... and they have just played in that position 2/3 times on a trot anyway.

Well last night was the first time I've ever been allowed to play anything other than CB. In the evoweb team I went there because all the other forward positions were taken up every game by the same people and then when i joined the AVF i picked up the cb position because it looked like it was the same. JM mentioned that you always use rotation but last night was the first time I've actually been asked to rotate, the last time i was playing online with you lot i was just left at the back every game.

We just had a horrendous amount of bad luck in our games hitting the post with every damn shot and the other teams being able to take the pss and score facing away from goal or score from stupid angles where the ai keeper would ignore everyone and let the ball roll in. A lot of the teams we faced were exploiting as well, they were doing the half way line shots, then the chip on the edge of the box, then the cut back cross exploit where the ai defenders purposely run back and play everyone onside and the keeper runs to his front post as soon as the ball is crossed leaving an open goal behind him.

Our keeper was scripted badly as well - so he hardly ever caught the ball and kept parrying shots right into the other teams feet, it seemed like every shot the other team had our keeper parried right back at them and then when we attacked every shot hit the bar.

Is that the teams fault, the fat old slow juventus players, or just rubbish fifa ai scripting ?

That said, it's much easier and more fun to rotate when there are only 4 or 5 of you in a side than 8 or 9 of us because you can go up front then MF then up front then MF and if you choose to play in defence you can.
The only problem i noticed last night was a tendancy for players to all bunch up together on corners or crosses so if the ball missed it's target we had no one behind to cross back in.

got 2 trophies for that lol .and it all came from good simple unselfish passing , dont know who crossed it for me to score but was right on the money .

The Juve players aren't the problem, its a combination of terrible AI, non existent response times and us not playing well.

It is bizzare sometimes. One day this week we were unbeatable and won about 5 games on the trot 4-0 or 5-0.

Then last night, we couldnt even score a goal, let along win.
We finally scored after 6 games in the last minute of our final match.

I think we need to keep to a team as we have changed far to much, and if everyone wants that team to be Juve then fair enough.
But in my opinion we played the best football (in the few months I have been playing Bap with you guys) with Sevilla and Hoffenheim and dont understand why we changed. They had everything (pace, height and strength).

Todays a new day though and it can only get better after last night!! Hopefully will be on at somestage in the evening (when the gfs asleep!!).

I did the same mate, Absolute disgrace losing that way, they beat us 5-2 with 3 of their goals coming from the half way line,

What pisses me off the most is EA know of the problem but just ignore it. Either becuase they're afraid the morons who score with it won't buy the next Fifa if it's not included or the ****heads at EA use it themselves along with the other cheats like chipping from the edge of the box or goal line and that's why they keep them in.

Multiple times last night people were text chatting during the bloody game and just standing still with the ball because of this!
*** guys. Do the chatting at half / full time.

It also distracts you when playing so it's best not to use it ingame at all.

I also love it when some of the guys moan at people saying *** every 2 secs and the next time they get the ball they **** up.

No need to say sorry all the time either. People can tell when you have at least attempted to make the pass. Nobody should moan at anybody when they TRY and pass the ball. Passes don't always come off do they?

If you have lag then just explain later.

i agree. i was one of the guys who chatted during the match lol

i will try not to do that anymore and just chat during half time or during a goal celebration.

Some of the exploits in bap are really ******* me off such has everyone playing has barca or france and having henry run pass our invisible defenders whenever henry has the ball

the shot from half way line is ******* me off to teh extreme. EA need to sort this **** out asap.

If these teams annoy so much then quit before the game starts. Just text everyone to do the same.

Personally, I couldn't care who we play against.

If someone shoots from halfway line then all drop out of game as this is one thing that pisses me off too. I have never seen one go in though. People who do it are just *******.

on saturday night. a team scored 3 in ONE GAME from the half way line and the other goals because of dodgy GK AI.

we evens cored 2 in that game as well.

We did quit mate, that game was a joke. I hate that glitch with a passion, my bro tries it now and again, he does'nt understand the way AVF works though, its guys enjoying the game more than the wins, dont get me I hate losing with a passion, but I enjoy the play with us when were doing well. I'm exactly the same - if we lose 3-1 but we managed to score a really fun goal that involved us all working together then I'd be happy with that. For all the annoyances when it DOES work it works stunningly amazingly great.

Defending is tough against fast players or human players because as you tap X they can just walk around you as the scripted animation makes your player jab their foot forwards then tap a step forward then turn around --- so it makes it look as if you've just walked towards the attacked, then walked past them like a blind guy and then started to give chase. Then you're left with people saying 'what happened there? why didn't you tackle him or get the ball?'

I don't listen to any of that crap. It's not as if I let them just waltz past me on purpose. I back off and try and time the interception. Doesn't always work.
Saying that, now and then I have to try and smash someone. Sorry, I just do as it's fun

All I hate is greedy ****ers! The mistakes don't bother me that much. It's nice to win but as long as we play good passing footy, that's the most important for me as it's more enjoyable.

Still nobody passes it backwards. I'm not saying to turn back all the time and do it but if you recieve a ball and are facing backwards, surely the simple lay off is the pass to give? It then drags people out of position creating more space for the forwards.

I've also noticed people moaning at certain people but laughing at others who do the exact same thing wrong. Double standards guys.

Basically, just try to keep the ball moving and stop shooting from ridiculous angles!
