NHL 10 BAP Team - AVF Thunder

Hi all,

We had a team last year and it was a good laugh when we all managed to get together, so who would like to join the 2010 BAP team?

Really, before signing up, you need to be free one night a week (Hockey night!) for a couple of games. I notice we have lost 2 players from last years team to the Xbox360, but they were pap anyway! lol (only joking Zeeks/Richie)

I'm proposing Tuesdays from 8-10pm as I can't play later than that!

Realistically, I can do any night except Thursdays.

People coming on later/playing different days are welcome to play with each other as and when they like, but it would be good to get a day/timeslot where we can get at least 4/5 people playing in the same team.

Wife is due to give birth any day now, but I'll pencil in Tuesday nights for some hockey whenever I can.

I went for casual in the end. had one game with callum then a game with fuggles and callum and it froze on me... hopefully not a sign of things to come?

Not got used to any of the new moves/buttons yet.

We lost 1-0 in OT. Managed to miss an empty net in the second period!

Make sure you've got version 1.1. Stops the freezing problem.

Let's hope it doesn't keep happening. I really enjoyed that game last night even if I did play like I was an 8-year old, chasing the puck all round the rink rather than doing what I was supposed to!

I find it a pain having a BAP player that is a specific type.

I had a Dman, but was playing on the wing. I then changed my BAP player to a RW expert, and ended up playing RD

Most of my games with randoms only have 2/3 players, so I've stuck with a sniper and play RW/LW/C, although I do like playing D.

Hmmm decisions decisions lol.

Ok dudes, I've got EASportsWorld overload here...

Been having a play and all the current members of the team (4 of us) are added into the team on 'sportsworld'

I've added a scheduled team event for Tuesday, so if whoever is around could confirm their attendance on that, we'll all know who to expect for the first hockey night.

To confirm, go to 'schedule', pick tuesday, open the club event and click 'confirm attendance'

When you say left sided, does that mean you play left side, or left-handed.
I always assumed a left handed player would go on the right, if you know what I mean....

Anyways, My BAP guy is currently a left-handed forward, but I can always change it

Personally I think it's arse coverage for when FIFA comes out next week lol.

Play Fifa 6 days a week and Hockey every Tuesday night. Simple!

Seriously, good luck with impending arrivals guys. I have 3 already, so the novelty has worn off long ago lol

It's just a scheduled 'hockey night' I set up on easportsworld.com.
Go to your profile, make sure you're on NHL and then go to the club section.
If you are signed in, there'll be a number of tabs along the middle of the screen. Pick schedule, then Tuesday on the calendar and you'll see the 'Hockey night'

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain though...

Someone wanted RW, so I'll change my player to be an RD (I'm left handed and don't really want to change that)

Hey, new guy, do you want to play centre (must get his PSN off my PS3 toinght?!) :-)

We'll see how it goes tomorrow, but I may try and setup some matches (challenges) against other teams (who have worse records than us lol) so we match up with like-minded/skilled teams...

Id go centre but my faceoff rating is terrible, let me mess around with my guy tonight and I can confirm position, if i can change my ratings ok I will go centre. What is ******* me off is lots of people online with the gold boots, helmets etc, I am assuming they have pretty much just bought the boost packs as to unlock them normally looks as if it would take ages.
