has anyone got any info on a new GTA yet? im looking forwerd to a new one!

I haven't heard anything but I would be surprised if a completely new game was planned any time within the next 2 years or so. I'd guess expansion packs would be more likely for the immediate future, plus online additions due to the amount of time and resources it takes to complete a new GTA game...

will be a download expansion called Lost and Damned.
Xbox360 exclusive for awhile as MS paid them $50mill for it.

A new GTA is as inevitable as a new Gran Turismo, and as far away. It's a massive game, takes years to write. Most likely there will be expansions, perhaps a new city with similar gameplay, as happened with Vice City and San Andreas - both were essentially GTA3, but with minor improvements. GTA5 may not arrive until the the PS4...

GTA V is probably in development, but it wont be done in a big way until some DLC is released. Development for new games often starts immediately after a game is released, even with DLC in the mix, but it will be years before anything actually gets done beyond R&D, the new Xbox will be out by then, maybe the PS4, depending on how much R* go for it. I wouldn't be suprised if we saw some games like Vice City and San Andreas first. The lost and the damned isn't really the same

There is going to be another DLC coming up near Christmas.

If these are popular R* have said they may bring more coming after this.

You are talking likely 2011-2012 for the next GTA game, as these take years to develop.

Resident Evil 5 for example was announced to begin development in mid 2005, four years later in 2009 it has just got a release.

To be honest after playing both, and just to note, loving GTAIV immensly I am more looking forward to news that a Saints Row 3 is hopefully coming.

Have you played Saints Row 2, if so this will definitely tied you over.

I thought Saints Row 2 was pretty poor, it was just trying to be what GTA used to be, and failed haha!

Just goes to show how people can be so different, as I thought the same - that it was like the older GTA games (SA/ Vice City) but I thought it succeeded and did so by a large margin.

I honestly thought it was the funniest game I had played since Conkers Bad Fur Day.

+1 I enjoyed SR2 alot more than GTA IV, it was more like GTA: SA to me with all the side activities. It also had co-op online which was a very good feature, IMO it was just missing trophies for the PS3.

It seems to me (it's the same on the PS3 forums) that the people who got Saints Row 2 are the people who just wanted a next gen GTA:SA or VC.

I can see why that would be the case (and I'm not saying you're the same) but the way that people simply disregarded GTA IV because it was actually different and more original than the previous games (which were still great by the way) annoys me at times

yeah i have SR2 and GTAIV and GTAIV in my opinion was not as good as the other GTAs
