I've owned this game for a few months, and have come stuck on the Trespass mission. I cannot climb the ladder that leads to the rooftop, no matter what I try.

I know exactly how I'm supposed to do it, as I've climbed many ladders throughout the game, but it simply doesn't function. I thought it might be a glitch in either the game or my console, and coincidently my PS3 brokedown recently so I had to have it replaced. This meant I lost my hard drive to had to start the game again from the beginning, and the same problem still occurs.

I've read of others having this problem, but so far no solution.

Any ideas if this is a known glitch, and if so, how I can get around it.

Otherwise, this renders the game redundant as I cannot progress

I had a bit of a problem with the ladder in this mission when doing the game again after the trophies went live. Eventually he did go up it though.

A quick look through Google shows you're not the only one having a problem. I can only suggest posistioning Niko perfectly then pressing triangle and nothing else.
