There's always a lot of buzz around Grand Theft Auto IV, but lately, the rumors have been all about zombies infecting Liberty City and the PlayStation 3 version of the game getting Trophies.

Today, Rockstar confirmed both rumors.

Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, will bring 51 Trophies to the PS3 via a downloadable patch. The Trophies will be the same awards folks saw with the Xbox 360 Achievement system. However, if you jump into a multiplayer match right now, there's a chance that you'd see a zombie running around in yellow briefs. This is an infected person. If you kill an infected person -- who may or may not be marked -- you become infected.

"The signs of infection are: access to the zombie skin and having the Achievement/Trophy "Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie," a Rockstar release said. "With the all-new Viral Infection feature at the Rockstar Social Club, members can now see whether they are currently infected, the number of total global infections and the number of infections in the last 24 hours."

I've had the zombie skin for ages. I don't think it's difficult to get if you play multiplayer for a while, it seems to spread pretty quickly.

After deleting my game info for trophies I don't have my Zombie skin anymore.. How do I get it back?!

Aaaah, OK! I was doing it the other way round (kept getting my mate to shoot me.. In game that is!)
