Does anyone have any idea how much they'd give me for it? I've had it for less than a week and it's in very good condition.

Ideally I would be able to do a straight swap with Call of Duty 4 (even if it's pre-owned) as this is something I really want. Is it likely they'd do that?

I don't think Game will give you much for it. Not sure though ring up and ask.

Thanks. I tried ringing them but they don't give details like that over the phone. Reason I avoided selling online is to avoid stuff like postage costs etc.

Surely you can swap GTA for COD4 without having to pay anything. COD4 has been out about 6 months longer than GTA.

You get £30 trade for GTA4 at the moment but I would be surprised to see a COD4 on the shelves as they rarely come in.

The age of the game has little to do with the resale value as it is based on a few factors (store second hand stock levels and current retail price primarily)

I would shop around to see who will offer the most for your game.. I personally think Blockbuster gives the best. Game offer peanuts....

I got Turok and GT: prologue with my PS3 bundle, didnt like either of them so went down to Game (almost new condition). The tightwads offered me £21 for both..and that was only trade value toward a game, so if i wanted cash it would be even less..

Blockbuster offered me £35 trade value so got COD4

its hard enough to come across brand new in anywhere with a decent price

blockbuster is always the best place to try
