glitch after completing story (spoilers)

Im just gonna put the whole thing in spoilers. probably best only to read if you have completed the story.

on the final mission, i went for REVENGE - which leads to kate getting shot at the wedding.

after killing pegorino, i get a phone call from "UNKNOWN CALLER" and its kate -asking me if i want to go on a date.

This got a bit confusing as she was dead already!!

I've looked at this and think this has happened to quite a few people - i cant understand how something like this can get through testing

I made that choice, but that situation never happened to me. Maybe it's because [spoiler]i already had her fondness to 100%[/i]? I did finish it on the 360 which might be why, but i'm now playing thru on the PS3, and will make the other choice, so i'll see what happens that way.

But it's only an oddity not a game-killer, and these things do slip thru development.
