Help, I was playing GTA IV and completed a mission and then the auto-save thing came up i saved it and then i just lost all my weapons all of a sudden!!

What the has happened?

Have you not been arested buy the police yet? If you have then they'll take all your weapons off you. So maybe you got arrested buy the police.

I know that Zain, nope i did not get busted. I completed a mission and the auto-save came up then it saved the game then all my weapons went!!

I might have to use the weapon cheat now!

That's bizarre.

You won't need to use the weapon cheat because you'll have plenty of missions where you can pick up weapons and soon enough you will unlock the weapon shop.

Just collect some money and buy some weapons. They're not cheap though $2000 for a gun! Then you need to buy the ammo separate because the gun only comes with 1 clip !!

surely you should have enough money to burn by now, since there is pretty much nothing else to spend it on in the game.

I lost all of my weapons early on having been arrested. Didn't make the same mistake again.

Best thing to do is to break your arrest with the police and enter a gun fight with them instead. If they 'kill' you, you end up restarting outside the local hospital with all your guns intact, just a few $ lighter.

Another lesson learnt for when you manage to pick up the rocket launcher later on. Don't use the last rocket. He ends up disposing the empty launcher and it's a wopping $15,000 for a new replacment . New rockets are 'only' $5000 each

didnt know this, i just used my last rocket an hour ago .
