Hi, I'm part way through playing this and it's not a bad effort at all if I'm honest.
Quite scary at times too lol!

Anyone on here playing or played this??

I had it for 2 days from Lovefilm on a recommendation.

With about 8 hours play i had the platinum trophy and gladly sent it back.

I thought it was ok for the first few parts and puzzles and then just got boring doing the same puzzles over and over. Didnt enjoy it in the end.

Yeah I have to agree with you on the doing the same puzzles over and over getting abit tiresome.

Now many people say it's a short game, you took just 8hrs to get the platinum.... but it's taken me a whole lot longer than that and I'm not even finished yet! I can't be that bad lol.

Can I just ask you how you managed to kill the minions with the traps you make? (gas, stun, explosive). I can't do this at all??!!

You have to set the trap on the floor.

I cant remember the button combination off the top of my head so cant help that way. IIRC i dont think the game even tells you how to plant them. I had to look on the net to find out.

Not much help sorry mate. But the net will help you.

No problem mate, thanks for the reply.

I was able to plant the mines but they just weren't killing the minions.
After reading on the net it seems I have to hit them a few times first before planting the trap.

Oh and did I mention how awful the combat is in this game?!?

The trophy's are rather easy to obtain in this game - I just got one for doing absolutely nothing as I took a break to type on here!

I'm struggling with one of the circuit puzzles - I've managed to do the easy & medium ones, but I run out of time when attempting the third & hardset circuit ... any tips?

I used these to help me. Got my platinum this weekend on this (about 8 hours play), easy playthrough, nothing tricky if you have some pics of the pipe puzzles and larger circuits. As for a general tip, work around the outside of the puzzle first, then move inwards

How many different variations are there?

Are those for the difficult versions of the circuit?

Not sure how many 7x7's there are, I found these images after I'd already some. I think it's all of them. (these are the hard ones). If you find a puzzle and don't complete it before the time runs out, it'll reset and you'll get a new circuit when you next try

There are some other images of the 3x3's, 5x5's, but after a while, you get the hang of doing the smaller ones, it's just these big 7x7's that are tricky, especially when you have a time limit

Wish these were around when I did it, they were the only slightly challenging thing about the game.

That's when I stopped playing

The game in itself I didn't think was too bad, for what it was, it's just the stupid timed circuit puzzles just started doing my head in, in the end

I could cope with the puzzles or the time limit, but not both, especially when you had to do 3 in a row and keep running out of time on the 3rd and having to start all over again, controller through the screen time

Not nearly as annoying as trying to stomp 5 minions to death! Game was okay, repetative, but had its moments.

Stomping 5 minions was the second to last trophy I tried to obtain. The hardset part was knocking the minions over...they fell over completely randomly.

I've now obtained all trophys & my first ever platinum

Well done on the Plat mate

Easiest way to get the stomping trophy is to replay Amanda 1-3, when the guy comes through the door, make sure you hit him with a 'heavy' punch (square) you're more likely to knock him dowm first time than if you use the jab (x) after getting the stomp, make sure you play to the next door with the trap, let the shotgun trap kill you, then restart at 1-3.

A little

I'm certainly not the biggest Trophy whore, there are plenty of bigger ones over in this thread

I used to run this thread, but stepped down recently

I enjoyed this game. I'm a fan of the movies and this game provided me with the Saw experience I was looking for. I got quite into it and did jump a couple of times when walking into a trap.

Yes it's limited in variation, but apart from the pipe puzzles I found the puzzles a welcome distraction. I particularly liked the circuit puzzles - although thankfully I thought they were quite simple (maybe luck).

I got the platinum (my first) and only really struggled with the curb stomp trophies. I found it much easier to achieve it on Amanda 1-11. In my save game the guy was standing on the ladder, stood to his right, uppercut or 2 and he would fall (most of the time). I'm not sure if he's always there, but I did chase after him after solving the previous puzzle.

Also, if you're going for the plat, get the trap related trophies on your first playthrough. Bit annoying having to recollect the schematics after completing the game.

Well, i finally finished this crappy game tonight. Sadly though i only finished with 91% of the trophies. For some reason, i never saw the shovel once in the game and somehow, i didn't unlock 20 doors.

The others were a kill with fire and 5 minion curb stomps.

Im not sure if it's even possible to go back and get these 4. Would be nice for the Platinum but i struggled as it is to finish the game
