Hey, Is anyone willing to fill out a gaming questionnaire for me to help me with my dissertation, it will only take you like a maximum of 5 minutes. If you want I can post the questionnaire up in this thread and people just give their feedback as replys, I think people will find each others answers quite interesting. Hey everyone, I decided to just post it up in the thread to get the maximum amount of feedback, I look forward to your answers and once again, thank you very much. First of all I want to apologise for the poor layout of the questionnaire, I copied it in from a Word document so all the formatting is not perfect. Secondly I just want to say thank you in advance as this will be a great help to me. It might be easiest for you to just make a list of question numbers and write or answer next to them. Couldn't afford it as I had the PS2 and was a student, but I was put of by the monster of a controller 11. I thought the brand was inept - just a classic bit of Microsoft clumsily applying the same branding process they do in the PC world and expecting it to take with a different audience. 11. None listed (just sold my PS1), but I own a PSP, and waiting for the PS3, but use PC for the majority of my gaming) 7. Out of the consoles you own, which is your favourite and why? Yes - Playstation, because I like the Sony brand - quality and design, with dedicated company behind it. I also prefer the Japanese mentality regarding technology compared to the Americans. 9. A Cheap PC created from PC components made purely for gaming, but not a real games console. 11. Four years later and with the introduction of the Xbox 360, what are your thoughts of the Xbox brand now? Microsoft are getting better, but I worry about Microsofts dedication to the supporters. They have a habit of not supporting products after a couple of years and making you pay for everything they can, unless there is something in it for them. 12. Would you buy a console because it is the first to the market with new technology? No. I would compare the competition when it arrives 13. If you did not presently own a console, which would you choose from the following and why? From the list given it would have to be Xbox 360 for the High Definition capabilities. But if you had listed PS3 then that would be my current primary choice as I prefer Sony and Blu-Ray 14. Please use one or two words to describe what you think of the following consoles: Nintendo Gamecube - not immersive enough Microsoft Xbox 360 - Good, but not quite there yet Playstation 2 - ageing graphics but still has some potential and some great games.
