Is anywhere still selling new PS2 consoles for a decent price?

I know Sony pledged support for the PS2 for some time and there's still new AA releases on the console, but I haven't been able to find any new PS2 consoles for sale (well, not for a decent price). GAME on-line have them in stock for around £120 but I'm sure they were c£70 a while back.

Reason I'm asking is I still use my PS2 a lot and have a huge amount of games for it. I would like to invest in a second PS2 (new) to keep in reserve for when the current one inevitably gives up the ghost!

The three argos stores in northampton all have stock of the ps2 at £69.99

Last time I was in asda I think they had some cheaper than that too if that helps

I bought one last saturday at argos, for £70 it came with free Abba Singstar and a pair of mics. (It was for my Mum, OK?)
I think there was another deal too, check online for details.

great idea, my ps3 wont play ps2 games, even so ive always found emulated games seem to look worse than plumbing in the original.. the also lose that whole feel of the loadign times, the start menus, that certain audio quality and picture.. its just in effect like copying a vynil onto cd you get a 'copy' of the experience not the real thing.

besides the ps2 controller is way better than the ps3`s !!
