Playstation One to LCD Monitor

Hi, I have a small question.

I recently bought a Used PSone for some old games (yes i know i posted on a PS2 forum, but there was no PS forum, so im sorry)

I am curious to know if i could do this.

Take the PSone RCA (White/Red/Yellow cables) put them into a female RCA to VGA Adapter?.

On the back of my monitor i have a VGA and DVI port.

do they make a Female RCA to Male VGA adapter? and if they do (which i think iv seen them) would it be possible to run my PSone on my monitor? please get back to me ASAP!!!

Thank you,

Jacob

Patience is a virtue

Anyway the two signals (Composite and VGA) aren't compatible, so you'll need a scaler rather than just a passive adapter.

Something like this might do the trick, I haven't tested it though:

DealExtreme: $37.83 VTimage Composite + S-Video to VGA Converter Box (1280*1024px Max/110V~220V AC)

You're looking at around £25 delivered for that.
