help with parental controls

hi all can anyone help went to put on a kids dvd on the ps2 as i do every day .iv got a problem the parental controls have been set and the kids didnt set it and nether did i .so when it ask for the passcode i dont know it the kids dont know it eather can anyone help as i can reset the ps2 as i dont know how to do this or even if it is possible .thanks

usually the factory setting is 0000 try that , hope it helps
